Habbo Hotel Happenings Wednesday 12th September 2001 In recognition of yesterday's terrible events in the United States, I have brought this week's newsletter forward. OUR THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU All of the Habbo Hotel staff would like to send out their deepest sympathy to those Habbos who have been touched by the awful events in America. Some Habbos have lost loved ones to this terrorist action and are feeling really vulnerable right now. UK Prime Minister Tony Blair said 'we stand shoulder to shoulder with our American friends' - here at Habbo Hotel we are doing just that, with Habbos from all over the world offering their friendship and support to our American Habbos. IF YOU WANT TO TALK MikePepsi has thoughtfully renamed his Buckingham Palace room 'American tragedy memorial' for the next few days. It is a place to go to discuss Tuesday's events and how you feel about them. We've put some blank Stickies in there too, so that you can leave a personal message if you want to. Please feel free to use these, especially if you do not have any Habbo Credits and cannot buy your own. Other Habbos have also set up similar rooms - try searching for World Trade Centre in the Hotel Navigator. Please do remember that some Habbos have been directly affected by this tragedy - bear this in mind when visiting the hotel. What seems funny and a way to lighten the mood, may not be received in the way you mean it to be. Please report any offensive comments or behaviour to the Hobbas using the Call for help function (in the blue question mark). That's all from me for now - please email me with any comments. May all the victims rest in peace. The Manager Habbo Hotel |
